A new study was recently published showing that 45 minutes of continuous aerobic exercise significantly improved fatigue, attention, and memory in breast cancer patients.
Considering that many breast cancer patients suffer from ‘chemo brain’, a feeling of ‘fogginess’ or difficulty with thinking and memory that can occur after breast cancer treatment, this offers a nice option for treatment.
Exercise as a Treatment Alternative
Drugs are not always the only option. When needed they are irreplaceable. But sometimes a simple walk or bike ride around a lake may be the most effective medicine you can get to help combat fatigue, attention and memory deficits, depression, and other problems that often come with cancer treatment.
And even better? No drug interactions or unwanted side effects. No deductible. No co-pay. No out of pocket max.
